Environmental Responsibility

We at Apple Heating recognize that we all have a responsibility to help preserve the environment. Here are some of actions we take on a regular basis to protect our habitat

Refrigerants - Apple Heating invested in equipment to recover refrigerants (Freon) from air conditioning systems 2 years before the federal law was passed requiring this.

Energy Efficient Appliances - Apple Heating has always installed more high efficiency furnaces, boilers, and air conditioners than lower efficiency models. This has helped to conserve natural resources.

Recycling - Apple Heating has recycled numerous amounts of cardboard, lead batteries, mercury thermostats, aluminum, copper, and steel. These practices help keep poisons out of the environment and preserves landfill space. We also purchase recycled paper for use in our office and we also use pads made of recycled tires for furnaces and air conditioners. We all need to buy products made of recycled materials as part of the effort to preserve the environment.
